Research
Diseases of wild and captive cheetahs, including research on Helicobacter gastritis, veno-occlusive disease, and the role of captive stress in their pathogenesis. Pathogenesis of endometrial growth disorders and effects of progestins, particularly in carnivores. Diseases of wild candids and felids with emphasis on infectious diseases. Safety assessments of GnRH analogs and ZP vaccines as contraceptives for felids.

Reproductive pathology; conservation medicine; diseases of wild canids and felids. Post-doctoral and graduate training of MPVM students and Comparative Pathology Graduate Group.
